This Privacy Policy explains how Encore Live ("Encore Live", "we", "us") collects, uses, and shares information when you use the Encore Live mobile application and related services (the "Service").
1. Information We Collect
1.1 Information You Provide
- Account information (email, password handled by our auth provider).
- Profile information (display name, avatar/photo, bio).
- User Content (comments, ratings, collections, favorites, attended shows, follows).
1.2 Information We Receive from Third Parties
- Setlist and concert data from setlist.fm.
- Authentication, database, and storage services from Supabase.
- OAuth profile information from third-party identity providers (e.g., Google), which may include name and email.
1.3 Automatically Collected Information
We and our service providers may collect limited technical information necessary to provide the Service, such as IP address, device identifiers, and logs related to requests. The Service also stores local preferences and caches (e.g., language settings and cached profile data) on your device.
2. How We Use Information
We use information to:
- provide and operate the Service;
- personalize your experience;
- synchronize your content across devices;
- maintain safety, security, and integrity;
- comply with legal obligations; and
- improve features and performance.
3. How We Share Information
We share information with:
- Service providers (e.g., Supabase for authentication, database, and storage).
- Setlist.fm for API requests required to display setlist data.
- Other users when you make information public (e.g., profile, comments, follows).
- Legal and safety when required by law or to protect rights and safety.
We do not sell your personal information.
4. Data Retention
We retain account and User Content while your account is active. You can submit a verified deletion request from Settings → Delete account (/settings/delete-account). Automatic processing starts after submission and retries temporary failures. We aim to delete the account and associated personal data within 30 days after the request is recorded.
Limited records may be retained when required for legal compliance, security, fraud prevention, dispute resolution, or to document that a deletion request was fulfilled. Shared concert and setlist reference data that does not identify you may remain.
Setlist.fm data may be cached to improve performance. Where cached, it is retained for short periods unless required for user features (e.g., your attended show history).
5. Your Choices
- Update profile information in the app.
- Delete content you create where the app allows.
- Request account deletion in the product at
/settings/delete-account. - Review deletion scope and instructions on the public account deletion page at
/account-deletion.
6. Children’s Privacy
The Service is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
7. International Transfers
Your information may be transferred to and processed in countries other than your own. We take steps to protect your information in accordance with this Policy.
8. Third-Party Links
The Service may link to third-party sites (e.g., setlist.fm). We are not responsible for their privacy practices. Please review their policies.
9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will provide notice in the Service or by other reasonable means.
